August 2017 – Always learning: Dr. Anthony attended the SPEAR Core Workshop on Occlusion in Clinical Practice. Bringing back in-depth knowledge about observation skills and understanding occlusion to better serve you, her patient during clinical examination of your joints, muscles and teeth. Occlusion is how your upper and lower teeth fit together and is very important for maintaining a healthy mouth. Dr. Anthony is able to confidently and efficiently diagnose and treat occlusal misalignment with her up-to-date knowledge, cutting edge technology and state-of-the art equipment.

Strengthening Smiles Through Prevention
At Dr. Anthony’s Kalispell dental office, we pride ourselves in offering preventative dentistry with emphasis on patient education. We want to equip our patients with the knowledge they need to aid in prevention of decay and the progression of oral disease, while strengthening their smile. Our staff includes two professionally trained dental hygienists specializing in prophylaxis (cleaning of teeth), digital X-rays and periodontal (gum disease) treatment for all family members. In addition to routine dental cleanings, each of your regular appointments will include a head and neck exam, oral cancer screening, and timely diagnostic x-rays. Our state-of-the art digital x-ray images can be viewed immediately on our computers, allowing Dr. Anthony to detect damage and disease not visible during the regular exam.

We would love to treat the dental needs of your children, starting when they get their first tooth. Early interaction with our friendly staff helps your child become familiar with the sights and sounds of our dental office. Sealants and fluoride treatments are quick and easy protective measures that can help defend the health of your children’s teeth. Dr. Anthony and our hygienists are happy to work with young people to teach good homecare techniques.
